Safe Commute Privacy Policy
Your global privacy choices: Ads appear for every age group. Players under 18, or anyone who prefers not to disclose an age group, receive only age-restricted contextual ads without advertising-ID use; gameplay measurement stays off. Adults may choose standard or personalized ads and then make a separate optional gameplay-measurement choice. These choices can be reviewed in Age & Ad Settings.
1. Operator and contact
Signature Business (“we”) operates the mobile game Safe Commute. For privacy questions or requests, contact tkrdmsdl@gmail.com.
2. Information kept on your device
Game progress, career records, settings, language, checkpoints, ad-frequency limits, your age-group, advertising and gameplay-measurement choices, and the policy version associated with those choices are stored locally on your device. We ask for no date of birth and do not transmit the raw age-group answer; the advertising SDK receives only the privacy-treatment flags required for the selected route. We do not automatically upload these local save records to our own server. They normally remain until you clear the app’s data or uninstall the app.
If you deliberately share a promotion image through your operating system’s share sheet, the destination is chosen by you. We do not automatically receive the image or the destination you select.
3. Advertising and gameplay measurement
No advertising request is made until you complete the in-game age-group choice. The game asks only whether you are 18 or older and does not ask for a birth date. Advertising and optional gameplay measurement are separate choices.
If you are under 18 or prefer not to answer
Unity LevelPlay and Unity Ads may serve only age-restricted contextual ads. The game signals child-directed treatment, opts out of advertising-ID use, disables personalization and sale/share, and keeps Firebase Analytics disabled. On Android, demand is limited to Google Families self-certified SDKs. Rewarded ads appear only after you select a reward opportunity. Interstitial ads may appear at disclosed boundaries between DAYS, not during active play.
If you confirm you are 18 or older
You can choose standard ads or personalized ads. Both choices show rewarded ads and interstitial ads at the placements described above. Standard ads turn off personalization and advertising-ID use, while IP-derived approximate location and device, app, ad-interaction, and diagnostic information may still be processed to deliver and cap ads and prevent fraud. Personalized ads may also use advertising and device identifiers and app-use information to select more relevant ads. On iOS, the operating system’s tracking permission is requested separately where needed; refusing it does not block gameplay.
Your separate gameplay-measurement choice
Adults can separately allow or decline pseudonymous gameplay measurement. Allowing it enables Google Analytics for Firebase, which may process a Firebase app-instance identifier, app version, operating system, device type, language, and events such as starting or resuming a run, completing a DAY, leaving a stage, promotion progress, and notification-choice results. Our custom event parameters do not include your name, email address, phone number, precise location, raw notification token, or advertising ID. Analytics ad-personalization signals are disabled. Declining measurement does not remove or change the selected advertising mode. Under-18 and undisclosed players cannot enable this measurement.
Changing your choice
You can reopen Age & Ad Settings from the main game screens to change the age route, adult advertising mode, or separate measurement choice. Stopping measurement also disables measurement-gated executive online access. A change does not automatically erase information a service provider lawfully processed before it; you may contact us about an applicable deletion request. We store the choices on the device together with this policy version and ask again after a material policy-version change. You may report an inappropriate or age-inappropriate ad from the same screen, through the web report page, or by emailing us with the time, ad content or advertiser, and—if possible—a screenshot.
4. Optional notifications
We do not request notification permission on first launch. After your first completed DAY, you may separately choose whether to enable commute reminders. If you accept and the operating system grants permission, Firebase Cloud Messaging may create a messaging token and process device, app, language, and delivery information for announcements. The app may also schedule one local resume or morning reminder. We do not operate our own database of raw messaging tokens.
You can turn notifications off in the iOS or Android system settings. Declining notifications does not affect gameplay and does not decide your advertising or analytics choice.
5. Executive online features
After you reach Executive rank, and only while you have separately allowed gameplay measurement, Unity Authentication may create an anonymous technical player ID and Unity Remote Config may receive that ID, an “executive” career-tier attribute, platform, app version, and configuration-request data to provide time-limited executive settings. If you stop measurement, the app signs out, clears local authentication credentials, and returns to built-in offline settings.
On iOS, opening the Executive leaderboard can use Apple Game Center for platform authentication and score submission. Game Center is governed by your Apple account settings and Apple’s privacy terms. The game continues with a local best-score display if Game Center is unavailable.
6. Service providers and international processing
Depending on the features you enable, information may be processed in countries other than your own by:
- Unity Technologies and related entities — Unity LevelPlay, the ironSource mediation SDK, Unity Ads, Unity Authentication, and Remote Config for advertising, fraud prevention, anonymous authentication, and live configuration.
- Google LLC and related entities — Firebase Cloud Messaging and Google Analytics for Firebase for optional messages and consent-gated measurement.
- Apple Inc. and related entities — Game Center on iOS when you use the Executive leaderboard.
These providers process information under their own terms, retention periods, security measures, and regional transfer mechanisms:
- Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy
- Unity Ads privacy and data compliance
- Firebase privacy and security
- Apple Privacy Policy
7. Retention, deletion, and your rights
Local records remain until you clear app data or uninstall the app. Third-party providers retain information according to their policies and our available service settings. You may use Ad Settings to change advertising personalization and stop gameplay measurement, system settings to stop notifications or platform tracking, and app deletion to remove local records.
To ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, consent withdrawal, or another right available where you live, email tkrdmsdl@gmail.com. Because Safe Commute has no developer-operated account, we may need enough technical information to identify a provider-side record, and in some cases we may be unable to connect a pseudonymous record to you.
8. Children
Safe Commute is not directed to children under 13, or to children below any higher minimum digital-consent age that applies where they live. We do not knowingly seek a child’s name, contact details, or date of birth. Players under 18, and players who do not disclose an age group, receive the full core game with only age-restricted contextual advertising and with gameplay measurement disabled. If you believe a child provided information through the services described above, contact us so we can review the request.
9. Security and policy changes
We use platform controls, consent gates, release checks, and provider security features designed to limit unintended processing, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure. If our practices, providers, or this policy materially change, we will publish a new effective date and version here and, when appropriate, ask for a new in-app choice.
